The Last Last Hike

83-year-old Nimblewill Nomad is on a journey to become the oldest person to thru-hike the entirety of the Appalachian Trail in a single year. Watch him as he starts his trek on Flagg Mountain in Alabama, the true southern terminus of the Appalachian Mountain Range.

Nimblewill Nomad is an avid hiker and storyteller and aims to be the oldest person to hike the nearly 2,200-mile-long Appalachian Trail. He begins his trek at the true southern terminus on Flagg Mountain in Alabama, a place he has been a caretaker of for the past three years. As he hikes north, he shares his love of the Appalachian Mountain range and Flagg Mountain with other hikers and the magic he has found in hiking. With more than 10 million steps taken and over 50,000 miles of hiking experience behind him, will this really be his last last hike?
