The Mallín´s Trail

In Patagonia’s iconic Frey region, a coalition of environmental advocates works to protect a fragile mallín ecosystem through the creation of a sustainable trail.

“The Mallín Trail” tells the story of Walk the Trail, winner of the prestigious EOCA (European Outdoor Conservation Association) conservation grant. Thanks to this recognition, a trail was built to protect the mallín near Laguna Toncek, close to the iconic Frey Hut in Bariloche, Argentina. This documentary shows how collaboration between scientists, public agencies, and private actors can bring environmental initiatives to life.
