Trilha Transcarioca

A footprint from all of us! The longest long-distance trail in Brazil is now open in Rio de Janeiro

The Transcarioca Trail crosses Rio de Janeiro over a route of approximately 180 km, starting at Barra de Guaratiba and ending at Morro da Urca, at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain.
During the trail, visitors have the opportunity to appreciate the city’s little-known natural attractions and discover the Marvelous City from unusual angles. The trail can be walked in its entirety or in sections, depending on the interests, aptitude and time available of its users.
