Made of Grit

Capturing hikers finishing their emotional six-month hike along the Appalachian Trail.

A filmmaking team flew to Maine in the fall of 2024, hoping to meet some Appalachian Trail hikers near the end of their 2,200-mile hike from Georgia to Maine.

They ended up talking to and hiking with dozens of them. Many of them reflected on their journey and the sacrifices they made to get to the end of the hike at Mt Katahdin, Maine.
