University of Wyoming Presents World Trails Film Festival

University of Wyoming’s Campus Recreation Outdoor Program presents the World Trails Film Festival. The program will feature an intermission and last about two hours.

Professional Adventure Photographers Isaac and Alex bonded over a love of pursuing excitement, but had a falling out. Now they bike 500 miles and explore not only the wilderness but their deepened friendship and the value of a shared adventure.

Break The Record, Break The Stigma

This film features three different ultra runners that discuss their personal experiences with mental health related issues. The purpose of this documentary is to bring awareness and acceptance to mental health being an integral part of our overall wellbeing.

Volunteers from around the world maintain trails on the four southern Penghu Islands through the “eco-craft trail” method. By utilizing natural materials on site, and harnessing only manpower and hand tools, the goal is to repair the trails “as is” in order to preserve their natural form and enrich the island’s pristine and poetic beauty.

Ultra runners Clyde Berning and Damien Schumann decided to utilise their Privilege of Movement in November 2020 to run on behalf of all species that once followed this ancient elephant migration route, in the hope to reunite the last remaining elephant in the Garden Route National Park with her herd in the Addo.
